“Jump Zone”, an indoor trampoline park business who created 40 jobs in Sandymount in 2012, are now opening their second facility in Santry which will be almost double the size, involve a capital investment of over €1.3m and create over 60 jobs.

Noel Rock was glad to welcome the news, “it is another local jobs boost for the area, which has seen live register rates consistently decrease over the last two years. While we have a long way to go, particularly when it comes to youth unemployment, announcements like this – and creating the environment in which recovery can happen and jobs can be created – is the key first step”.

Spread over 35,000sq ft, the indoor trampoline park in Santry will become Jump Zone’s flagship premises and the largest of its kind in Europe with two Dodgeball courts, a main trampoline court and Europe’s first foam pit.

Noel Rock, the Local Representative for Santry and Whitehall added, “I have written to the people behind this development, highlighting the depth of talent in our local area and the benefits of hiring local people for as many of these jobs as possible. I look forward to welcoming them when they open”.

Since opening the facility in Sandyford Jump Zone has looked after 100,000 customers, catered for over 2,000 children’s parties, over 500 corporate groups and over 100 school tours.
