Dublin North West TD, Noel Rock, has slammed Dublin Bus after most real time information applications failed during what was one of the busiest mornings of the year.
“The real time app and web info, which highlight information about Dublin Bus times, were out of action at the exact time when people needed them today.
“With the trains not running, traffic was much heavier than usual in the capital, and therefore buses were running late.
“In this situation, people depend more than ever on these expensive systems and – at the time of need – the systems and Dublin Bus were found wanting.
“The question has to be asked – with potentially more strike days to come, and more busy days in the run up to Christmas: how prepared are Dublin Bus for this?
“They need to get their act together for the sake of hard-pressed Dublin commuters.”
