Dogs Aid are an organisation doing fantastic work in Ballymun. Effectively they are a not-for-profit veterinary service who have been based in Ballymun for years now just at Balbutcher Lane, just down from the block where I grew up.
However, due to the demolition, they have had to vacate these premises. This great not for profit organisation now finds itself without anywhere to carry out its local clinics, and it’s just not good enough. There is ample free space and vacant units in the area and I really hope a solution can be found ASAP.
