The bin collection days locally are set to change from March 2014.
Why? This will mean that all commercial bin companies have to collect the bins from each local area on the same day. This will mean that small, quiet areas don’t have big bin trucks coming through the same quiet area on as many as three days of a week. Bin trucks will now all come on the same day. This should result in less disruption and will mean bins not sitting by the side of the road every day of the week.
What day will my bins be collected? See below. Most of the local area is on Wednesday, though some will be on a Friday.
