Mr. Rock, a representative for Ballymun, Glasnevin and Whitehall said: “I am glad to see the Government taking the provision of facilities to young people seriously, and note that over €700,000 has been provided for youth cafe developments since we took Government. This figure will now bring that to €1.7m – a substantial investment.
I would hope to see local organisations using this money to effectively provide youth cafés in Ballymun, Finglas, Whitehall and Glasnevin and if I can be of assistance with the application, I am happy to do so”.
